The field of green construction has continued to grow in spite of the economic downturn. “Green” building is certainly the wave of the future and will someday become mainstream. This course chronicles the journey from idea to reality of a national award- winning deep green demonstration home. The curriculum provides an snapshot of residential green building concepts including ratings, design, energy and water use reduction, and materials.
